water-based primer for relief finishes

100% acrylic primer with relief finish. Suitable for the protection of gypsum-board, concrete, brick, surfaces treated with levelling compound, etc. Ideal for all surfaces requiring a primer with a relief finish before application of plastic, acrylic or decorative coatings. Special non-spill composition. Fast-drying, allows recoating the same day. Decorative relief finish.

Preparation

Carefully prepare surface to obtain good results. Remove all weathered-peeled off coatings, dust, oils, salts and mildew. Surface must be clean and dry. Putty any surface defects. Prime locally with DECO PRIMER. Apply DECO PRIMER in the shade of your choice on the entire surface.

Surfaces in sound condition: Apply 1 coat of DECO PRIMER.

New plaster, concrete, brick, cement: Apply 1 coat of DECO PRIMER in the shade of your choice. Paint after 30 days.

New gypsum board or putty: Apply 1 coat of DECO PRIMER in the shade of your choice.

Use

Brush, trowel or spray airless. Thin by 10-30% with water.

Drying out - coverage

Drying times are dependent on ambient temperature and film thickness.

Touch dry: 1 hour.

Recoat: 4-6 hours.

Practical coverage: 10-14m²/lt depending on the thickness of each coat and the surface porosity.
